Hi, I’m Kalie

Animals have always been more than just pets to me—they’ve been a huge part of my life, my comfort, and honestly, where my heart feels most at home.

My journey started back in 2014 when I began volunteering at a local rescue through my high school. I spent countless hours caring for adoptable cats after school.  Since then, I’ve fostered over 100 pets and gained hands-on experience with pets of all different ages, personalities, and needs

Over the years, I’ve worked in pet stores, boarding kennels, doggy daycares, and grooming salons, gaining experience with all kinds of animals—from dogs and cats to birds, reptiles, and small pets. I later became a Certified Master Feline Groomer in 2021, but more than anything, those experiences taught me how important it is for pets to feel safe, calm, and truly cared for.

Comfort Paws Pet Sitting really brings together everything I’ve learned over the years. My goal is simple—provide safe, stress-free care so you can leave your home without worrying. I totally understand how that feels because I’ve had pets of my own too—cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, and even a fish (very appropriately named Turtle).

I know how hard it is to leave your pet behind. I’ve been there myself—worrying if they’re okay, if they’re comfortable, if they’re being loved the way they are at home. That’s why I’ve built a space where pets aren’t just “looked after”—they’re welcomed in, cared for, and treated like family.

As of November 2025, I also joined a local grooming team, where I groom with limited availability so I can continue doing what I love most—caring for pets through Comfort Paws
